Global Tissue Group (Jacksonville, FL) is seeking a Level I Electrical Technician to join our team and support the maintenance and improvement of our manufacturing production equipment and facilities. This role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical malfunctions, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensuring the proper function of building systems such as alarms, communication networks, and electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC programming, 24V DC systems, 480V AC systems, and drive systems from Allen Bradley and Siemens. Additionally, this position requires adherence to OSHA and ANSI safety standards while working independently or collaboratively to troubleshoot and optimize operations. GTG Jacksonville is seeking a Level II Manufacturing Mechanical Technician to join our team and help maintain the efficiency, quality, and safety of our production operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of rewinders, wrappers, case packers, and other key production equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. In addition to equipment maintenance, this position supports building upkeep, equipment installations, and process improvements within our converting paper manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding, machining, fabrication, and mechanical troubleshooting. You will work closely with operators and fellow technicians to minimize downtime, improve processes, and contribute to a strong team environment.
